Gabby’s flamboyant performances and her wild eight-piece band playing an eclectic range of instruments, from accordion and mandolin to tuba and clarinet has inspired a fervent and diverse fanbase and a succession of sell out shows.
The band conjour up a slew of haunting songs that draw on blues, folk, rock, jazz and cabaret, leading BBC 6Music to declare her ‘howling mad and completely irresistible’.
She calls it ‘circus swing’, others describe it as ‘folk with a Moulin Rouge twist’.
This summer sees the band embarking on an epic tour of the nation’s finest festivals including Glastonbury, WOMAD,
Camp Bestival, The Marlborough Jazz Festival, The Wiltshire Jazz Festival, Shambala and many, many more.
