Created in Rennes in 2007 while they were still at high school and discovered by the public at the 2008 Transmusicales, The Popopopops embody the generation that grew up with the 90s pop: a boys' band with a dandy attitude, but most of all, a rock'n' roll boys' band. Moving away from a particular revival, the five young musicians have built up a surprising musical identity, finding an ideal balance between an elegant pop writing and powerful and energizing dancing rhythmics. Since their first shows, The Pops have left a deep impression on their audience and have shown real show aptitudes, thanks to the freshness of their dance-rock bombs and to their attitude, absolutely positive, sincere and self-confident. Dance Tonight, their first single, co-realized and mixed in the English manner, by Clive Martin (Naïve New Beaters, The Dodoz...) is a real hymn to joy, a spontaneous appeal for dance and groove.
