DOUBLE VEE CONCERTS betreurt de zwarthandel, woekerhandel en heeft ook geen eigen of vermomde "secondary ticketing", en doet als bekend ook principieel geen zaken met zgn "secondary ticketvendors". Wij doen een beroep op het publiek om die handel ook niet te steunen. Klachten over dit soort handel in kaarten met de artiesten die wij vertegenwoordigen gaan rechtstreeks naar de Tweede Kamer fractie van de SP. Aanstaande donderdag 21 oktober vindt er een publieke meditatie en wake plaats voor de overleden Solomon Burke. De begravenis van Solomon Burke is op vrijdag 22 oktober. De begravenis zal via web casting wereldwijd te volgen zijn via de site van Burke.
Solomon Burke zei altijd: 'geef me bloemen als ik leef', dus de nabestaanden verzoeken iedereen geen bloemen te sturen, maar juist een bijdrage te doneren aan ;één van de stichtingen van Burke.

A Public Meditation and Wake Service will be held 5:00 – 9:00 PM on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Griffin Mortuary, located at 5600 Lindero Canyon Road, Westlake Village, CA 91362, telephone: (818) 889-0902. The Burke family will be there, and this is your time to give your well wishes and share stories, hugs and prayer.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 10:00AM at the City of Refuge, 14527 South San Pedro Street, Gardena, CA 90248.  Due the schedule of the day and the size of Solomon’s family, we are asking that you keep family visitation for the Thursday Meditation and Wake Service only.

The Funeral Service (via web casting) will be shown at 1:00 PM EST at Sharon Baptist Church, 3955 Conshohocken Avenue in Philadelphia, PA 19131, telephone:  (215)473-3000

Web Casting of the funeral service will stream live (10:00 AM PST / 1:00 PM EST) via the world-wide web - it will be available the morning of the funeral service at www.thekingsolomonburke.com.
