DOUBLE VEE CONCERTS is extremely active at Eurosonic. We present 16 acts who all together do around 35 shows during the Eurosonic 2011 weekend!
Of course you have to make sure that you will be at De Spieghel on Friday from 8pm onwards where DOUBLE VEE CONCERTS again presents new European talent at Eurosonic.
To give you an overview and tip you off what acts you should check we made an outline for you.

EUROSONIC - WEDNESDAY JANUARY 12
We start on Wednesday at the official opening party at De Spieghel:
Curry & Coco from France perform at 9.25pm.
Go Back To The Zoo (already announced for Pinkpop 2011) perform at 0.30pm.
At the EBBA Awards we present The Baseballs from Germany and Ben L'Oncle Soul from France.
Ben L'Oncle Soul will also perform at the European Festival Awards at the Stadsschouwburg this evening.

EUROSONIC - THURSDAY JANUARY 13
On Thursday you go, right before dinner, to music store Plato to check the semi-acoustic performance of Go Back To The Zoo (Plato instore at 6.50pm). Afterwards you find yourself a nice little restaurant and have a great meal so you can handle a long night with great music. To start the night you walk to the main market square to watch the show of Alain Clark (Grote Markt Open Air Stage at 9.30pm). After this show you have plenty of time to walk to the Stadsschouwburg to discover Swedish newest Britta Persson (Stadsschouwburg at 10.55pm). To finish the night you walk to the Grand Thaetre to meet the soul star Ben L'Oncle Soul at 0.25am. This French singer has been tipped as the soul sensation France never had before!

EUROSONIC - FRIDAY JANUARY 14
On Friday we start with a cup of coffee at the Coffee Company (next to music store Plato) to check Lára Rúnars (at 4.50pm) from Iceland and James Vincent McMorrow from Ireland right after her at 5.30pm.
Again there is plenty of time to get a good bite before you wonder off to De Spieghel. The is the venue you can hang out all night.
With 2 stages (downstairs and up upstairs) we offer 8 acts from all over Europe.
We start with beautifull singer-songwriter Tina Dico from Denmark at 8pm upstairs. Followed by Lára Rúnars at 8.45pm downstairs. With Sacred Animals (upstairs at 9.30pm) from Ireland we smoothly move into the next buzz band from London. These guys (and girl) are called Yuck (downstairs at 10.15pm). Upstairs at 11pm Swedisch alternative rockers of Golden Kanine will start the party. Frankie & the Heartstrings will continue the party at 11:45pm at the downstairs stage. French party animals Curry & Coco (up 0.30 am) will make you all dance to their indie dance and rock songs. And now that you are really ready to rock Black Spiders from the UK will finish it off at 1.15am with real rock 'n' roll songs.
To make sure that De Spieghel is the best place in town we've added two more acts to the official program which are Marike Jager (up at 2am) and Go Back To The Zoo (main at 2.30am).

If you decide to check other acts in town on Friday as well, we recommend you to check the rockers from Iceland called Endless Dark, extremely young and energetic, at Vindicat at 8.45pm. Right after this show you need to check Dutch break through act of 2010. The band is called Go Back To The Zoo and they will perform at main stage Huize Maas at 11:45pm.
When you prefer a more quiet ending of your evening, you should check James Vincent McMorrow at Grand Theatre upstairs at the same time - 11:45pm.

On Saturday we start very early with our latest upcoming star Eefje. She performs a short set with her band at Music Store Plato at noon. After her at 2.40pm Schradinova (the former singer of Dutch success band Room Eleven) will showcase  a couple of her new songs at Plato. And at 4pm Lucky Fonz III is back and this time he sings in Dutch and brings a band.
At night we start early at 8.30pm to check the first performance of Eefje with her 5 piece band at the Marathon zaal. Make sure you're in at time, cause this lady has something that's new for Holland. When you fell in love with Eefje it's time to move to the 3FM room to watch the full performance of Lucky Fonz & de Felle Kleuren (which is Lucky Fonz III and his band The Strong Colours) at 9.30pm and Schradinova at 10.30pm.
To finish this great weekend we all go to the main room to watch the performance of Go Back To The Zoo at 1am. Last year they performed at a smaller stage in the building and this year the band is ready to headline the main room.
