Dean Wareham returns to Europe, performing the Galaxie 500 classic On Fire plus more songs from his catalog. Dean will be backed by a 4-piece band including his wife Britta Phillips on bass.

Dean Wareham was the singer and guitarist in Galaxie 500 (1987-1991). Based in Boston, they Galaxie 500 released three albums that have only grown in stature, Today, On Fire and This Is Our Music, all produced by Kramer and released on the Rough Trade label. 2020 also saw the first ever vinyl release of their live Copenhagen album.

Wareham’s next band Luna recorded for Elektra and Beggar’s Banquet (including Penthouse, on Rolling Stone’s list of best albums of the 90s), followed by three albums as Dean & Britta (with his wife Britta Phillips).
