Improvisation is his most important creative method. For Florian Christl, composing is a deeply personal, almost intimate process, where he is left alone with his music and thoughts. The goal is to create a space that can be individually experienced; a place where, for a brief moment, it’s all about “escaping reality in order to feel alive while lost in thought.”

With his debut album Inspiration, released in 2018, Florian Christl immediately reached the global classical top charts on various streaming platforms and made it into the top 20 of the German classical charts. Since then, he has delighted a wide audience on international tours. His second album, Episodes, was released in the summer of 2020 and features the globally streamed track “Vivaldi Variation,” which has been streamed millions of times. In the fall of 2022, Florian Christl released his third album About Time with Sony Classical, which he now presents live to audiences, along with a selection of his best works, as part of his current program.
