Already boasting four independently released EPs, streaming numbers that total over 30 million, support slots with Ella Eyre, Paloma Faith and his own string of sold out London dates, Jake Isaac releases a heartfelt and honest record in his debut album ‘Our Lives’.
Jake’s distinctive style of feisty, powerful soul pop with anthemic, big hooks has earned him widespread plaudits as a singer and as a gifted multi-instrumentalist, having played all the instruments across his previous material. A huge artist within the international markets selling out headline shows in the US, Belgium, UK, the Netherlands and Germany, Jake takes ‘Our Lives’ back out into Europe this May, followed by a summer of festivals including Live at Leeds, Citadel and headline UK tour this Autumn.
Jake will also be joining Elton John on seven of his UK stadium tour dates including Twickenham, Birmingham and Leeds after personally being selected by the singer.
Elton quotes on the ‘Our Lives’ record: “This is a really really special record, I’m just blown away”
To celebrate the album release, Jake has collaborated with a selection of his favourite artists to commission the ‘Our Lives’ session series. Ella Eyre, Maverick Sabre, Saint Raymond and Joel Baker all join Jake in the studio to record and deliver extremely personal alternative versions of key tracks from the album.
With support coming from the likes of Independent, Notion, 1883, Jocks & Nerds, Mahogany sessions, Wonderland, Clash and BBC Introducing, Jake’s instantly recognisable vocal is a refreshing reminder of how distinctive a UK modern soul artist can sound. A fiercely personal and passionate body of work, his debut album is one of fantastic depth and full of fire.
